If I had lost the necklace I would have probably told Mm. Forestier that I had lost it, but if the necklace was a real diamond necklace it most likely would have turned out violent on Forestier's part.
What would I have done if I lost the necklace? Honestly, me being the way I am, I probably wouldn't have said anything about it and hoped that the person that I borrowed it from forgets about it. I don't know that's just what I would have done.
I most likely would have cried. I am a very emotional person. Ha Ha but yeah i would freak out and start appologizing but of course if i had known that it was fake i wouldn't have felt so bad. :)
I think that if I would have lost the necklace I would have gone to the original owner and told them then I would have put up flyers. Since the story went the way it did and the necklace came out to be worth only 500 francs. It wouldve been easy to pay her back.
If I had lost the necklace then I would have gone to Mm. Forestier and told her that I lost it. Instead of going and buying a brand new one when the one she used had no sentimental value to anybody besides Mm. Forestier.

if i lost the necklace i would have looked everywhere for it and i would be freaking out. Then i would go to the owner tell them what happened, that i was sorry, and that i would buy her a new one if she wanted me to.
I probably would have told Madame Forestier that I had lost it, because then I wouldn't have made the same mistake as her, and wouldn't have to pay that much money. I would probably freak out before I did that though. I can imagine myself doing that. For sure.
If I would have lost the necklace i probably would have gone and told my friend what had happened. I would have asked her how much it cost and what i could do to make it up to her that i lost it. I wouln't have kept it a secret from the lady, and to find out about how it was a fake and not the real one.
If I was to loose the necklace, I would have just told her what happened and that I was sorry. Then if it was just like the story, i wouldn't have to risk paying all that money for something that might not have been real. I would tell her I would help her buy a new one, or something helpful like that.
I'd ask for the necklace back, and if she gave it to me I'd seel it, repay her and be happy....besides the fact I wasted 10 years of my life. But if she didn't give it to me I'd have to attack her and rob her to repay for all the wasted years.
if i had lost the necklace i would have told Mm. Forestier that i had lost it, but that I was looking for it. If I did not find it I would tell her I would pay her back however much it cost
Let me think for a sec... i would have snuk into the persons house and looked for the certificate of authenticity. that is your best bet in finding out weather or not it is a fake...
(PS. the real thing i would have done is more sinister.)
I agree with justme! I would have just confessed to her so that I wouldn't have had to pay alot of money for a fake necklace I would have known it was fake and only paid for what it was worth.
If I would have lost the necklace, I probably would not have been able to sleep that night, and most likely would have driven Logan crazy, by asking him what I should have done. LOL I think I would end up, after having thinking about it, I would go up to my friend, and apologize to her, and ask her what I could do to make it up to her. If she's like any of my great friends that I have right now, then they would totally understand!!! <3 =) <3
I would have cried a little and then went right to my friend and told her the truth. That way she would know and I would'nt end up buying a fake necklace for a lot more then what is worth.
If i wouldve lost the necklace i proably wouldve told the person i lost it first then i would go and ask if they wanted 1 of mine or if theres anything i could do to pay it back or if they wanted anything different to make it up to them
I would've reaked out and said " oh no look what i've done. I would also told the person that i lost it and i would have told them i will buy you another one.
If i had lost the neckles I. would have set down and explain that i have lost. Then talked out a plan how to pay for or replace the necklace. My best chances for saving money is telling the truth.
If I had lost it I would have lied. My excuse would have been that "I was mugged on the way home from the party. I told the husband to get a cab but he said no we will saave some francs after we bought the dress."
I agree with nick ross(: I would've told them the truth and that I would make it up to them. Then I wouldn't have had to make up the fake necklace for a real one.
I would have just told Forestier about the necklace and got it over with instead of going through the trouble of buying a brand knew one that way i woukdnt have to spend 10 years paying it back.
I am the mother of a fun loving, creative and east going little boy who loves to get into everything! Carter will be two on June 27th. He loves to play outside and look at the planes in the sky.

I'd be angry and probably punch her because she should've said uit was fake before......unless she offered t give it back. Then I'd be happy!

I would tell the lady that I missed placed it and that I will give her dinner for losing the necklace.
If I lost the necklace I would start to panic, and eventually tell the person that I borrowed it from and I would offer to make it up to them.

If i lost the necklace i would immediatly tell her that i lost it,instead of doing what she did.
