I suppose that it could be that the good things in life come and go, and you should be greatful for those things. Also, hope for the best and dont let life's dissappointments get you down.

What a tough question...it really depends on the view you have...for me it would have to be that you always will have bad memories, yet life always goes on. You need to remain positive, or else you will suffer the consequences. Life is a roller coaster with ups and downs, but hopefully you'll find more ups.

I would say that it's always good to have a friend when you need them most. And that some things in life happen, that you can't help, and you have to learn to deal with it-like getting typhoid or losing your friend.

I agree with allie on this one. Having friends to help you through hard times is very important.

I think one of the themes you could choose from is that life's not always fair.

I think the theme is that live your life even though there are ups and downs and things that won't work all the time.

For me the theme was that no matter had bad life gets, life still goes on and to be grateful what you have.

I think the theme of Angela's Ashes is that life is full of surprises. Good surprises and bad surprises. Example: Frank is healthy and is alive. He lost his only friend in the hospital.

I think the theme of Angela's Ashes is that lif will bring you all kinds of things that you don't like and somtimes it's your choice if you want to get throught it or not but you always need to stay positive and have faith because you never know if somthing bad is going to happen.
