That he does'nt care about animals and their feelings.
He can keep his nerve in a time where the perosn hunting him is going to try and kill him. He also improvises. He uses his head to make the best decisions, and uses his knowledge.
I agree with Carey. He definetley stratigized his next move when Zarrof was hunting him.
He's very smart about what he does. He doesn't loose his head in crisis situations.
I think rainsford is a clever hunter who always uses the full extent of his brain.
The redeaming qualities of Rainsford are that he does'nt care about animals anymore.
He is very good at keeping his nerve even when the general is trying to kill him.
He can come up with an idea on the spot His ideas for the traps are pretty creative as well.

He can keep calm during his hunting. And he is also a very good and strong hunter.
I agree with chrismore. He has alot of expierience with hunting animals and he does fine job at it.
