She can't have all the fancy, rich stuff the wealthy people have. Yes, I do think that type of fasination with money still exists today. There are alot of things I want, but I can't have them.
I'm with weezy. She was born into a middle-class family and wanted to be upper-class. This obsession still exists today. Alot of times in schools. With all the rich preps that think that they are better than everyone else because they get whatever they want without having to work for it
She wants the rich and fancy stuff because she wants people to think of her higher! and yeah people today want all the fancy stuff like nice cellphones and nice computers or cameras. but they can't have them.
She wants to be to be in the upper-class but was born into the middle-class. yes I think this happens today
She wants to be in the upper-class and not in the middle-class. I think today some people want stuff they can't have.
She just wanted all the luxuries she thought she was born to have. I think that everyone wants some luxuries these days, some are more money-hungry then others. They want all the designer clothes, Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuiton, stuff like that. Also high tech electronics like HD televisions. I think those kind of people just want to be "in". But as Heidi Klum says in "Project Runway", "One day you're in, and the next day your out."
She can't have all of the fancy things she would like. I also think that she believes that she deserves to have those types of things. Yes i do think that this fascination with money exists
Mm. Loisels always had wanted to be rich and upperclass but she was born into a lower class family and married a lower class man. You know what people say, " You always want what you can't have." I think that people still have this type of fascination with money. There are still those people who just dont think what they have is good enough.
Her reasons are because she has never had enough money to afford all the things she wants, so for that reason she would dream about being able to get them if she had the money. Also, I think that there are people that think like that today.

It's because she was use to having all the fancy stuff and now she had to get by with only the things she had. Yes, I do think that this obsession with money still exist today. Don't you think so?
She is jealous of her friend and wants what she has and when she dresses beatuiful it makes her feel beautiful and she feels like she is a star.I definally think that money is a big thing today. People are ranked in this world based on what they have and how much money they have.
She is greedy and thinks she deserves to have everything she wants.
She wants to feel like shes rich.
Yes, people love to have money and spend it on expensive things so they can feel like they have it all.
She grew up poor and always wanted those things. These things made her feel speacial and important. Yes, I think that this type of fascination exists today. Because people are always try to get rich quick, and I am always wanting new, high priced things.
She wants what she can't have. That's a kind of a common obsession in today's society, don't you think? Mm. Loisel is obsessed with it because she views herself as a nothing compared to the other men and women, and she wants to be a something. I think that's how a lot of people in the middle class think these days. They can't have high class things, so they think they actually have nothing, when in reality, you should be thankful for what you have.
She is Jelous that her friends have very expensive things and she doesnt. Mm Loisel wants to be invited to nice balls. I do think that this type of fascination with money exists today because people always want something that they think will make them happy but really they dont need it. Some people think that money will make them happy.
She wants to feel like the rest of the people that she is used to hang out with. Yes i think that the fasinaton with money still is around today. she misses her ld life.
she wants to be rich and have all the pretty things rich people have but she cant because she is not as rich as them.
This exist today and it is horrible.
She wants to be and have all the things she can't, that if she gets all those things her life will be better and perfect. Yes all those people who are trying to get rich quick and be better than everybody else.
I think that Mm. Loisel should get a job and if she wants things so bad she should pay for them herself and not take money from her husband.

She wants that because she can't have that stuff. If she did have that she would want something else.
She wishes so much to be rich but her husband is just not wealthy enough for her. I do think that a fascination with money still exists today. Look at how people love the Donald it sure aint his hair.
I totally agree with goodfella_14 because a lot of kids at school get made fun of because they don't wear designer clothes everyday. And that's not what really matters.
i agree with goodfella because, yes a lot of rich preps do get whatever they want and dont have to work for it, and they do this because they knnow if they whine to get somthin, they will get it and the reason why they get these things is because their parents get tired of them whining and they give in so they can shut up! My mom says if u want somthing you have to earn it because their are people who wish they had the things we do but they cant get, and you have to appreciate what you get instead of whining when you dont get somthing! Yes i do think fasination wit hmoney still exsists today!
I agree with everybody. She wants things she can have. But even today people want things they can have but there are people who think that money can buy everything. I think people that have a lot of money or don't should send some to another country or place with people who are less fourtunate than others.
that she cant have everything that all the other rich people have so that upsets her.Yes i do think that money is still a fascination, because there are a lot of things that i cant have.
