I think since she did all of this nice stuff for him and then he was going to leave her for another woman. She couldnt handle it anymore so she just killed him.
I think Mary killed her husband because he was going to leave her, and she was mad at hiim. She didnt purposely kill him it was a accident.
He was telling her to stop. He didnt want dinner. So she got soo mad that she smacked him with a lamb leg, but i dont think she meant to kill him.
When her husband told her that he was leaving her (supposedly for another woman) I think she kind of just went into this state of shock of some sort. She wasn't thinking about what she was doing when she got the lamb's leg out of the freezer and just struck him with it.
Mary was driven to kill her husband because of what he told her.
The fact that she loved him so much and he was leaving her. So she went over the edge. Beware of a mad woman with a frozen leg of lamb.
I think that Mary was driven to kill her husband because she loved him so much that if he didn't love her back that he doesn't deserve to love someone else.
For Mary to treat him with full repect and him to turn around and leave her put her in denial and she hit him on purpose just to get back at him which then ends up for her killing the man she absolutely adores.

She most likely did not want to face the fact that her husband did not like her anymore and wanted to leave her.
I think that Mary knew that her husband was going to leave her and go with someone else to dinner. She could not handle him leaving her to go out with other friends to dinner. So she killed him.

I think that she told her that is wasent working out between them and he didnt want her to make dinner for them because he was leaving and wasent going to be there do she grabed the lamb leg and killed him with it witch she was planning to kill him any way when he got home she is a killer.

I think Mary was tired of how her husband was treating her, and it was paid back for him leaving her.
Her husband was being stupid and like he was about to leave and shekilled him!

i think he was going to dump her because he wasn't mature enough to handle a real relationship and a kid. and she loved him so much she beat him upside the head with a frozen leg of lamb
I think that she killed him because he never said thank you or he never was home; he never said that he would take a day off just to spend time together
I think it was that he said" that he was going out.And he was not hungry.
I agree with jeni that mary killed her husband because he was going to leave her, and was mad at him. But I dont think that it was an accident.
I agree with that i also think that she didn't like the fact that Mary's husband didn't want her to make him diner at that made her mad.
I think she got so fed up with him because she would do really nice things for him like cook dinner for him. And it didn't seem like he appreciated it and he also was going to leave her.
I think once her husband said that he was leaving her (possibly for another person) she went into a form of sleep walking, but she knew what she was doing, just couldn't control what she was doing. Once she picked the lamb up she just forgot what she was doing and smacked him over the back of the head.
Mary did all these nice things for him and everyone new her as a woman with respect, I think that she felt what she was doing was a waist of time because it seemed like he didnt care what she did for him and when they had the talk she felt upset and depressed and even confused and so it drove her to kill her husband for revenge.
alcalas! i totally agree with you! but i think she shouldnt have done it well duh! but there are better ways to handle things!
Well jeni I completely disagree. I think she couldn’t have been any more deliberate then she was. She struck him in the back of the head not the back or leg. Also look at how well she covered it up almost as if it was premeditated. That goes to shows how clear she was thinking the whole time.
I have to go with adam on this one. After her husband said he was leaving her, she probably just lost all conciousness and crushed his skull with a frozen piece of meat. The thing is that she wouldn't have been caught anyways because meat + human blood is almost untraceable even in our time.
Jeni, I think she did it on purpose. She was supposed to be the perfect housewife. She was meek, quiet, and did whatever he wanted. She sacrificed a lot of her life to please him. When he told her that he was leaving-- she lost it.
I dissagree with everyone who thinks it was an accident. I mean yeah she might have regreted it a few days later but at that time I think she really wanted to kill her husband. Everyone got the feeling that he was going to leave her maybe for someone else no one really knows. I think her reaction was just more of how she was feeling sad and emotional. I agree with dead(: haha she did a wonderful job covering it up, and the way she just laughed when the policeman were eating the lamb, obiviously she wasn't too upset.

I think what lead her to kill him is what he wanted to do. What he wanted to do is get a divorce and to have other people take care of her and she didnt want that. She wanted him to take care of her but it was really the other way around. She was always taking care of him and he i dont think wanted that so he was getting rid of her. So she got mad and hit him acrossed the head with a piece of meat and he died right there and then and so she went to the grocery store and acted all fine and dandy so the clurk wouldnt suspect anything which is wrong she could have just had a talk with him to see what is really wrong. I just think she took a lot if it the wrong way.
I think she thought she couldn't live without him so if she wansn't going to have him no one would.
I think he told her he was going to leave and she felt he didn't appreciate anything she had done for him.
I think she killed him because he told her some bad news and said that he could find people to take care of her. I think she was just so mad and didn't mean to kill him or want to kill him, but she just got overwhelmed and killed him.

She does all this nice stuff for her husband and when she finds out she is leaving him she couldn't think of a reason to have him leave her. So she hit him but I don't think she mean't to kill him.

I totaly agree with dead 2012 because if she did it on acident or whatever she would have called the police sooner. She wouldnt have planned it out so much if she did it on acident go dead 2012.

I think that she was obsessed with him, and he was going to leave her, so she decided to kill him and keep him with her forever...
I think it was that he was probably cheating on her. She was pregnant with his kid for crying out loud! If that was me...I wouldn't kill anyone...just divorce him. Child suport too. :D

I think he was cheating on her and he was going to leave her but keep it all hush-hush from the other police officers. I would be extremely mad, I mean she was 5 monthes pregnant with his child!!!, and he just wants to up and leave her... At least he SAID he was going to help her out... But would he have kept his word??
I think that she killed him because he was going to leave her. She probably had lots of thoughts racing through her head and could not control them any longer. I definently do not think killing him was necessary i mean couldnt they have talked it out rather than going THAT far.
I disagree with Jeni because I think she did it inentionally rather then accidently. Also, I'm assuming she did it because he said he was going to leave, & she had been a perfect wife for him, & she doesn't deserve that.
I agree and disagree with alcalas. She probably could have handled it, she just did that wrong thing to how she handled it.
