I think she continued working in food service because she loves cooking, and she didn't believe the doctor that said she had typhoid, or that she was slowly killing several people by transmitting the disease to other people.
I think Mary coninued to cook because she cooking so much. That's probably the only thing she knows how to do.
I think that mary continued to cook because she had a passion for cooking.
I think it was her desire for food. but I personally feel that she should have stopped making food for other people. and spreading the desise even more.

I think "Typhoid Mary" continued to work in food service because she didn't believe that she had typhoid. She had no symptoms of typhoid. So she kept on working with food. I don't think she ment to get all those people sick I think she didn't blieve it and wanted to keep working with food because it was her passion.

I think she continued to work in the food service because she wanted to let people know how she felt so she infected them and I also think that she stayed in the food service because thats a ll she could do.
I have two possible answers. I think that Mary didn't believe that she had typhoid, and she just wanted to cook. Or there is the possibility that she knew that she had typhoid and became a serial killer. I don't either way is possible in this world.
I think that Mary continued cooking because it was something she was good at and even though she was a carrier of Typhoid she still wanted to provide people with good food.
I also think that she don't care that she has Typhoid because cooking is something she likes to do and being a carrier of Typhoid isn't going to stop her.
I think that she kept on cooking because she just liked it. I dont think she did it on purpose to spread typhoid to everyone.
i think she kept working with food because thats what she loved and she didnt know that what she was doing was hurting and getting so many people sick.
I think the reason she kept working with food is that, that was the only thing she acually knew how to do so when they told her she couldnt work with food anymore she felt confused and didnt know what excatly to do so she along with her life as cooking and serving food to people at resturants so when they found her the second time she didnt really know what to expect when they told her she was killing people. i feel bad for all those who were lost.
I think that she should have quit cooking when she knew she had Typhoid.

In my personal opinion she liked cooking very much. Also that she didn't quite believe that she had the disease
I believe that either the desease altered her thinking and judgement, or she didn't believe that she was a carrier.
She liked to cook so she thought it was worth it to infect hundreds with typhoid so she could do something productive....or maybe she just didn't know she had it..
I think she continued to work in food service, because she never thought she had typhoid. She also enjoyed cooking and that's probably the only thing she knows how to do and how she makes her money.
She probably did that because it was something she had done for a while, possibly her whole life. She also probably didn't get when people told her she was a typhoid carrier. She had never had any symptoms of it, so she was probably confused. I know I would be.
I think that the reason why she continued cooking was because she didn't belive that it was her.I also think that it was maybe she wanted to do something long term wise, but if your around and your the only person with thousands sic because of the food YOU, have given them wouldn't you think to listen to the person who told you to stop?Or at least try and find out the truth if it was you or not.And if you relize that people are getting sick and it could be you wouln't you just get cheaked?But i think it was someyhing she wanted to do, either that or she didn't care.
Nobody has taken into consideration that her intentions were indeed to infect other people. I have met some really sour people who could very well do that and let me tell you. There are people out there that once they find out that they have a terminal desease, they will try to infect as many people as they can to take them with them.

She loved making food so much that she didnt care if she killed anyone and she probably didnt want to believe she had the disease even though she did.
I think she did it cause she enjoyed what she did and wasnt going to let anyone else stop her. She also could have done it just cause she wanted 2.
because she felt that she wasnt the one spreading the desease so why let people control her life when they couldnt prove it at the time

Maybe it was because she thought she had the right to live her own life.

Being in the food preparation business was probally the only thing she new and the only thing she could do to keep food on her table as well.
I believe she didn't thought they were wrong about her Typhoid. There is always the possibility that she had a hatered of people, or she just loved to cook.
I agree with weezyh012 when typhoid mary cooked because thats all she knew how to do.
Mary didnt beleive the doctor when he told her she had typhoid. I think she stayed in the food service because she really liked to cook, maybe she didnt relize she was infecting others.
I think that she loved to cook and that she didnt know how to do anything else. If she stoped cooking she wouldnt get any money, wouldn't be doing what she wanted to do, and wouldnt have a place to live.
I am not sure that she really realized the severity of her disease and how it could really affect (and infect) those around her. It is scary to think that she was so violent when asked to get help. I guess I can kind of understand this. Her life was forever changed by the disease. What do you think?

I disagree with Dylan, I think she just loved to cook and din't want anyone stopping her.
In my opinion I just believe she wasn't good at anyhting else but cooking, so she was afriad to try & start a new career.
